Working in pairs, I was responsible for drawing of the objects in the troposphere and studying the mechanism of motion button in the PowerPoint. Through the process, we talked the exact wordings of the illustrations and the appropriate information presented in the diagrams over. And the main problem we encountered was that ionosphere and exosphere occupy most of the diagram but they do not have many features than the lower stratosphere and troposphere. Thus we have to decide whether the diagram is drawn in proportion or not. At last, we settled on that the diagram was not drawn to scale so that the features of the lower layers can be shown more clearly.
Here is a visual display presented by Martin and me. You can click the link below and take a look. http://iln.cite.hku.hk/com/1374/users/tmtsang3/Atomsphere.ppt

Your design is very clear and plain. Most of the text are hidden under mouseover so that your design would not be overloaded with too many text at the first glance to prevent the audience from reading, but necessary information are still provided according to the audience’s instruction. You have also reminded me to include ‘diagram not to scale’ which my group have missed.
In fact, my group faces similar problems as yours. Your group used the ‘bottom to top’ format while my group used the ‘right bottom corner to left upper corner’ format. As a result, you have more space to present more detailed information than us, e.g. the reflection of heat in the troposphere. Thanks for your inspiration.

Your ppt design is very attractive which shows your group put great efford in designing this ppt. It reach the purpose that “present a lot of information in a small screen, transmit complicated ideas through visual simplicity.”
