Storyboard for the group assignment

Assignment

The storyboard had been developed jointly with Martin. In the process, I was responsible for the drawing of the water cycle diagram as Martin was responsible for the consolidation. Data collection was jointly done by both of us. Hope the workflow description and images can provide enough information for others to get an idea what our final project will look like.

Dear Dorothy and Martin,
What a clear description of your animation! The picture is colourful and attractive. All your students are lucky to have such a kind teacher as you two.
However, for me its difficult to make this animation in flash. If you have finished, would you mind share with me. So that I can learn the technic of making this animation in flash and use it to teach my students. Thanks !

Well done! I think all the things in your storyboard is already vivid. The layers are clear and I’m very interested in the picture you drew. Can I have the tool name you used to draw this storyboard. Because the pic are so good and the color used is amazing.

Dear Maria and Leng Jing,

Thanks for your appreciation. I just used the PowerPoint to draw the objects in the storyboard. I am afraid that I can’t draw this with Flash as with PowerPoint. For the group project, the exact workflow and the interactivity part have been still discussed and considered by us.

The group assignment of Martin and Dorothy–Water Cycle

From the draft of the assignment, Martin and Dorothy explained the stages of water cycle clearly. The visual displays were very colourful. It was an interesting topic. The students may expect the pictures liked a motion picture with sound.
